When Chloe was born it was amazing how quickly she became interested in looking at books and having books read to her. As she got older her collection grew but there were always firm favourites including first word books with a picture and corresponding word on each page. She never seemed to tire of being told what was in each picture and many of her first words were words found in these books. When Chloe’s first cousin, Aidan was born I wanted to buy a first words book for him with pictures of our family as we live quite far away and don’t see each other as much as we would like. However, this proved more difficult than I thought with most personalised products being printed on paper. Having my own toddler I knew that any book I bought would have to have thick, easy to turn, board pages and be drool resistant and so I decided to make my own. Thinking that I couldn’t be alone in looking for this kind of product I set up Chloe’s Mummy and I hope you love my books as much as I love making them.
